Grant Program

The 2026 Grant Program will open early in 2026.

 

Grants are offered annually in alignment the Pastoral Vision of the Archdiocese of Omaha through programs or projects under the supervision of the Catholic Schools Office and the Pastoral Support Team.

Pastoral Vision of the Archdiocese of Omaha

One Church:  Encountering Jesus, Equipping Disciples, and Living Mercy

Programs and Projects will be prioritized based on the following:
  • Does it aim to create a culture of encountering Jesus and equipping disciples?
  • Does it seek to create a culture that enables God’s mercy to be received and lived?
  • Does it foster a culture of unity?

Grant Cycle

March – Grant Cycle Opens

April 30 – Deadline to submit online application

May – Grant Selection Committee meets to select grant recipients

June – Notification of grant status to all applicants

July – Grants are awarded on the last business day of July. Funding will be payable to the parish, school or ministry.

August 2025-February 2026 – To maintain eligibility in applying for future grants, recipients must provide program/project update, including at least 2 photos describing how your grant award assisted in advancing the Pastoral Vision in your community.
