The Catholic Futures Foundation of Northeast Nebraska welcomes two new members to its Board of Trustees: Mr. Lance Jones and Mrs. Jeanette Wojtalewicz.
Wojtalewicz is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for CommonSpirit Health’s Midwest Division, which includes CHI Health. Originally from Humphrey, Nebraska, Wojtalewicz is a board member of several organizations, including KVSS. She and her husband, Michael, are members of the Archbishop’s Dinner for Education Underwriting Committee. They have five children and are members of St. Patrick in Gretna.
Jones is an independent financial adviser with Parkland Securities and Sigma Planning Corp. He and his wife, Jeanie, have been members of the Archbishop’s Committee for Development (ACD) since 2015, and Jones sits on the ACD Leadership Committee. Jones and his wife have three children and are parishioners at Christ the King Parish.
The Catholic Futures Foundation of Northeast Nebraska, formerly the Omaha Archdiocesan Educational and Parish Foundations, was established in 1975 to provide long-range supplementary funding for the continuation and development of Catholic education within the archdiocese. In 2020, the Foundation expanded its purpose to allow donors to establish endowments and other long-term funds in support of Catholic parishes and ministries in addition to Catholic primary and secondary schools.
By partnering with community members, the Foundation has invested more than $32 million back into the northeast Nebraska community. These funds have provided financial needs-based high school and elementary school tuition assistance, religious education grants and operational support to parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of Omaha.
